Dhoni got married with Sakshi Singh Rawat

Mahendra Singh Dhoni, captain of Indian cricket team got married with Sakshi Singh Rawat last night. Sakshi Singh Rawat is 23 years old while Dhoni is 29 years old.

Sakshi Singh Rawat studied at Aurangabad’s Institute of Hotel Management. Dhoni will give the reception party on Wednesday in Mumbai.

Where all his cricket friends are expected to attend and it is also expected that all the BCCI, Board of Cricket Council in India official will also attend the reception.

Dhoni and Saksi got married last night in Dehradun at Bhagirath Resort. The date of wedding had earlier been set for October, 2010, but after the engagement, family decided to advance the ceremony.

Dhoni's wedding was planned, says Bipasha

Contrary to rumours that Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni decided to get married on the spur of the moment, actress Bipasha Basu, a close friend of the cricketer, says the wedding was planned months in advance.

Bipasha said, "The wedding on Sunday night was all planned. But no one was supposed to know about it. Whatever the truth, we must all be happy for the couple. It's party time!"

Alas, Bipasha's party for Dhoni's wedding would have to wait. She is shooting in the back of the beyond and couldn't join her boyfriend John Abraham for the wedding ceremony.

Says the saddened actress: "I couldn't go for the wedding because I'm shooting in Diu for Priyadarshan's Aakrosh. But John is there. He's back on Monday. I'll celebrate with Dhoni and his wife when they return to Mumbai."

The couple met two years ago when Sakshi was working with Taj Bengal as a trainee, and they kept in touch since then. Their friendship blossomed into love, and the rest is history.Dhoni’s wedding came as a surprise to his fans and the media alike, as it took place on the following day of the engagement.Only a few selected people close to the couple were invited to the wedding.

Important personalities who attended the marriage ceremony included ICC chief Sharad Pawar, BCCI President Shashank Manohar, former Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje, actor John Abraham, cricketers R. P. Singh, Harbhajan Singh, Ashish Nehra and Suresh Raina.

Asin and MS Dhoni are couple!

Dhoni stayed there till the match ends up. Two days back, he again headed for Asin’s apartment and stayed there for an hour and a half. A source says, “Just before he left for the Asia Cup series in Sri Lanka(which began on June 15, 2010), he visited Asin’s house in Lokhandwala.This time, the two of them were not watching a match but just chilling out.”Their proximity develops after they starred in a commercial. Now the couple is in Sri Lanka. Dhoni is leading his team at the Asia Cup and Asin filming for Anees Bazmee’s ‘Ready’ with Salman Khan in Sri Lanka.

Well, it is hoping that both are having their time in Sri Lanka after their work.
