Vidya Balan finds a good friend in Karan Johar!

Of late, we’ve seen Bollywood siren Vidya Balan candidly talking about her wish to have a husband and settle down in life. And the latest is that the actress has been spotted hanging out with filmmaker Karan Johar quite a lot these days, according to sources.

Buzz has it that the two struck a new friendship after meeting at a recent function. Vidya was recently spotted at KJo’s office in Khar, which is diagonally opposite to Vidya’s new house. Grapevine has it that Karan is also very keen on casting Vidya for his forthcoming productions.

A source close to Vidya says, “Vidya’s fine performances in ‘Paa’ and ‘Ishqiya’, which were very different from each other, has made Karan sit up and take notice. Apparently, they are talking about working together.” The source also confirmed.

That KJo had invited Vidya to many of his parties even earlier and that Vidya has always loved Karan’s films. Talking about her meeting with Karan, Vidya said, “Karan Johar is one of the wittiest people I have met. He had me in splits. No wonder, he writes beautifully.”
