Aishwarya Rai Bachchan says yes to Vishal finally

Raavan may have tanked, but that hasn’t stopped the biggest directors in Bollywood from chasing Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The latest to woo is her is Vishal Bhardwaj, for a woman-centric project that is expected to take off in 2011.

Ash has even set aside her dates for the project, sources tell us.Says a source close to Aishwarya, “Vishal and Aishwarya have a history of misses.”Years ago, she was supposed to do his first directorial venture, Timbucktoo.

This year too, she was approached for Saat Khoon Maaf, but she didn’t have the dates and the film eventually went to Priyanka Chopra.”

The source adds that Bharadwaj was hurt by Ash’s constant refusals, but the actress would repeatedly tell friends that she would love to work with him, dates permitting.

“Aishwarya had liked the script for Saat Khoon Maaf. But 2010 has been an especially busy year for her, what with five films releasing.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan: Woman Centric role yet again!

The lady, who is still much in demand in B town, is of course Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. All directors have a dream of including her in.

At least one of their projects, which was also the case with director Vishal Bharadwaj. Reportedly, the director.

Who is currently busy with the completion of his project ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’,has gone on to get Ash to sign.

On the coveted dotted line for his next project, and is quite on top of the world, as this had been like a dream come true for the ace director.

The buzz is that Vishal Bharadwaj had been keen on signing Ash for his flick ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’.

But since Aishwarya had her bag full of other projects, she was unable to go ahead with the project.

Even though she had liked the idea of working with such a big name in bollywood like Vishal Bharadwaj.

Thus, it was Priyanka Chopra, who was signed on and she reportedly, has done a great job. However, this time, Vishal Bharadwaj has been able to catch.

Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Make Adjustments

It's been 3 years since Abhi and Ash tied the knot and the two lovebirds still act like newlyweds.

Their wedding was the industry event of the year and the press continues to try to get.

As much information as they can about their relationship. Speculations are.

Also constantly made about things that the couple decides not to disclose.

One of the most popular rumors is claiming that Ash is pregnant. The two are featured on the cover of the July issue of Vogue India.

The sultry cover shows off their true chemistry. In their interview with Vogue magazine.

Abhishek was asked if their marriage requires a lot of compromise from one another.

Bachchan responded by saying, "I don't look upon any of it as compromise.

The fact that she is in my life and I am married to her is of more importance and happiness to me.

Than anything that I could possibly compromise on". Aishwarya added, "I think marriage takes for adjustment, not compromise.

And it means doing all that you need to do to commit to your relationship. If there is anything that makes you feel like it's a compromise that means there is an area of discomfort.

And that means there's already something unsettling. But why talk of marriage and compromise? Life asks for adjustments and you do that. You are like water-you find your fit. You look upon life like that, why necessarily compartmentalize marriage?"

Aishwarya also revealed that she knew Abhshiek was the one when they met. The actress said, "You know, it's weird, but the moment we got together, it was a sense of coming home. Like I would have been surprised if we didn't." Sounds like they were meant to be!

Aishwarya Rai - Raavan abducts Kareena Kapoor’s luck

Aishwarya Rai may be cribbing over the fate of her much hyped Raavan that also starred her grumpy-faced husband.

Abhishek Bachchan whose lie to his fans about the cliff jump has tarnished his public image. However, amidst all the thorns lies the fragrant rose.

The idiom seems to be tailor-made for the former Miss World whose Raavan debacle has landed her. A film from the renowned Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

After getting sidelined by his good, old friend Salman Khan and suffering the pangs of Ash-Sallu split, Sanjay’s desire of casting.

The magical pair of ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ for the 2nd time has died a ruthless death. And to make amends, he has been planning to cast the hottie Kareena Kapoor for his next.

“Sanjay now wants to be totally and ruthlessly professional about the casting of his films. He therefore sent.

A message to Kareena, an actress he has been interested to work with, that he had a role for her,” says a source from the esteemed Mumbai mirror.

However, as destiny would have it, Raavan flopped; something that made Sanjay sympathetic towards Ash. And so, he trashed his plan and decided to rope in Ash since he didn’t want to desert/dump her during her times of crisis. He’s already filming a flick with her in Guzaarish that stars Hrithik Roshan but, now, one more movie may soon go to the floors. And speaking of Kareena, we are sure she must be grinding her teeth the Bebo way.

Thus, recently, the star came out with a startling revelation about her very deep-rooted career. The buzz going around is that the star has been offered umpteen roles from.

Hollywood directors, but she has never really ever been free enough to accept all of them, due to her already busy schedule in bollywood films.

Aishwarya has been offered roles by Bret Ratner. She has been offered roles in big flicks such as ‘Wolf Gang’, and ‘Rush Hour’. Then.

As reports suggest, Petersen offered her the role opposite Brad Pitt in ‘Troy’, but the bollywood star had to back out due to too many intimate scenes in the flick, which Ash was not very comfortable doing.

RAAVAN - Will Abhishek, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Raavan be able to match audience expectations?

Raavan in Hindi, Raavanan in Tamil and Villain in Telegu are all set to set the silver screen on fire on June 18.

In modern times Ramayana has been replaced by ‘Raavanyana’. Director, Mani Ratnam has forayed into.

An unknown territory wherein the story is focused on the perspective of evil, Raavan. He has questioned the very existence of Raavan.

He has delved into making a demarcation of good and evil and has raised a very pertinent question.

Is there a Raavan in every one of us? With a cast boasting of the likes of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Abhishek Bachchan and southern superstar Vikram in the lead and Govinda, Ravi Kishan, Nikhil Dwivedi, Tejaswini Kolhapure and Priyamani in the supporting roles, Raavan is sure to create history.

Abhishek play Beera, who kidnaps Ragini, Aishwarya, who is the wife of Vikram, a cop who is responsible for his sister’s death, to seek revenge. But the twist in the story is that unlike the epic, Sita falls for Raavan. All this along with deadly stunts coupled with outstanding music by AR Rahman make Raavan a must watch.

Aishwarya's train gown had a pleated bodice with the deep V neckline extending into.

A knotted chiffon drape cascading down in the front. The studded padded cap sleeves extended to the back.

She accessorized with a gold clutch, diamond stud earrings, a diamond bracelet.

And a gold bangle in her left arm, a Longines watch in her right arm and multiple rings.

In both her hands including a statement ring in her right hand index finger.

Aishwarya handed over the award to Gustavo Kuerten, the retired ace tennis player.

From Brazil, for his work in favor of disadvantaged children. Earlier this award was usually given away by Stefanie Graf and Andre Agassi. Aishwarya, 36, has been Longines ambassador for the last 10 years.

Others present at the charity dinner included Stefanie Graf and Mary Pierce.

Aishwarya attended the men's final match during the French Open tennis championship at the Roland Garros stadium on Sunday, June 6 in Paris along with her parents.

Aishwarya is headed to London with husband Abhishek Bachchan to join the Bachchan family for vacation plus to attend Raavan premiere, due on June 16. The film is due in theaters on June 18.

Aishwarya Pays Abhishek A Surprise Visit

Normally the Bachchans have a rigid rule about not mixing business with pleasure. But on Thursday morning, when Aishwarya Rai Bachchan landed in Mumbai from Paris, she broke the golden rule when she dropped in unannounced, to meet Abhishek at the Reliance Web World where he was doing out-of-town press interviews.

Says a source, “Lately Abhishek and Aishwarya have had very little time together. After their short anniversary holiday, Abhishek got busy with the shooting of Abhinay Deo’s Game in Greece while Aishwarya returned to India for a stint of Robot.

She was then in Paris to honor the Brazilian tennis champ Gustavo Kuerten for his work with disadvantaged children.” Says a source, “At the charity dinner that followed, Aishwarya bonded with Steffi Graf and Mary Pierce and kept missing Abhishek because he was a big fan of both.”

The minute she landed in Mumbai from Paris, Aishwarya asked the family driver to take her wherever Abhishek was. A first for her because normally she doesn’t intrude when her husband is working. Even when she joins him on long outdoors locations, she never hangs around the sets when he’s shooting.

Says a friend of Aishwarya, “This time she made an exception because she was missing Abhishek all the way from Paris to Mumbai. And besides, Abhishek was doing promotional work for their film together. She not only met him but also joined impromptu in the talk with their fans on radio from Jaipur and Ahmedabad.”

Says a family friend, “The funny part is, the Bachchans are never together these days. Now that Aishwarya is home, the senior Bachchan left for Paris, the city that Aishwarya left yesterday. In fact, their flights must have crossed each other.”

Aishwarya Rai relies on memory instead of cheating

If theatre tests an actor’s true potential, films gloss over the shortcomings quite finely. The retakes, the cheat shots, the clever camera angles apart.

The actors always have the option of getting their lengthy dialogues prompted. But no such tactics for Aishwarya Rai. While shooting.

The Tamil version of Mani Ratnam’s bilingual film Raavan, Ash had the option of using prompting, and she did opt for it in one scene but was not satisfied with the result. “I can't take prompting.

First of all, I don't know the art of someone holding a placard and me reading it,” Aishwarya is quoted as saying by a news agency.

Recalling a scene in which she relied on prompting, Ash said: “I tried it once, but it was such a flop because I was in the water.

And they were holding the placard behind the camera and suddenly Vikram enters the frame and he started acting his bit. Then I had to bank on my memory because Vikram came in front, blocking the placard.”

In fact, working in the bilingual movie turned out to be nothing short of a linguistic challenge for its actors. Vikram who’s a Tamil superstar plays Ash’s hubby in the Hindi version and had to speak Hindi dialogues. On the other hand, Malayalam actor Prithviraj had to speak his dialogues in Tamil for the same role in the Tamil version.

Aishwarya Rai missing hubby badly

Their busy work schedule usually plays the devil and keeps them away from each other.

Recently when Aishwarya Rai was in Paris for the French Open, she missed.

Hubby Abhishek Bachchan badly. And as soon as she was back in Mumbai, instead of heading home.

She landed up at a venue where Abhi was doing press interviews. We don’t know how the hubby dear reacted.

But the unannounced visit by Aishwarya came as a real surprise for media because generally.

The actress doesn’t accompany Abhishek when he is working, though Ash recently did join him for a short duration in Greece where he was shooting for the movie ‘Game’. It also gave the couple a chance to have a Grecian holiday.

About her impromptu visit to Abhi at the press meet, an agency quotes a source as saying, “This time she made an exception because she was missing Abhishek all the way from Paris to Mumbai.” But good days are here again for the couple as Raavan is releasing this Friday and they are travelling together to many places for the promotion of the movie.
