After playing varied roles, three time National Award winning actor Mithun Chakraborty
will be seen portraying a junior artist in the Bengali movie ‘Shukno Lanka’.”My role in ‘Shukno Lanka’ is very challenging. It has given me the rare opportunity to retrace my struggling days,” said Mithun. ‘Shukno Lanka’ is a journey about forgotten dreams.
On a different note, Mithun, an avid football fan, talk about the FIFA World Cup too. He said he was a die-hard supporter of Spain in tournament starting June 11 in South Africa.”My favourite team is Spain. I am sure Spain will lift the cup this time,” Mithun, 62, said. He added that he would take some time out from his busy schedule to watch the matches.
Speaking about his new films, Mithun said he is returning to comedy after two decades with director Rohit Shetty’s ‘Golmaal 3′. “I will start my work on a new film by Mahesh Manjrekar. I am also working on ‘Golmaal 3′.”
