Geeta Basra has not acted for long enough to have a tag of formerly actress in front of her name.Her last film was The Train which released way back in 2007 and nothing seems to be coming her way apart from rare photo shoots and ramp walk assignments.Rather her only claim to fame has been her ‘close ties’ with cricketing ace Harbhajan Singh.That’s what makes us believe that Geeta is an extremely optimistic person.
She still believes that she is choosing the best that comes to her and does not feel the need to rush into anything. “It is a conscious decision. I will only do things that I am happy with. You will be seeing me very soon. It’s not that I have disappeared. I did a couple of ads last year. I had done an album which won the Asian Music awards last year. It was beautiful. I have not disappeared but I am conscious about what I do,” she stresses.
Maybe Geeta could have a new profession – counseling! Anyone else would have admitted her career is not going anywhere!
