Neha Dhupia bags Madhur flick?

Neha Dhupia was in recent times seen visiting Madhur Bhandharkar’s Andheri office to meet the National Award winning director. But it is not known which film she intends to do with him. Sources notify that the actress has been approached for his forthcoming Dil To Bachcha Hai Jee. Madhur and Neha we hear had a long meeting for the same.

Meanwhile, Madhur is looking out for girls to cast opposite Ajay Devgn for the same. The movie also celebs Omi Vaidya. Madhur is presently busy working on two projects simultaneously. One is Dil To Bachcha Hai Jee, which is a comedy while the next is Heroine with Kareena, which will go on the floors in October.

Bhandarkar is planning to give Kareena the iconic looks of Hollywood’s legendary actresses like Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe, Vivien Leigh and Eva Gardner.

Genelia D’Souza bags award

Moving away controversies on her planned trip to Sri Lanka to take part in the International Indian Film Academy awards ceremony, Genelia is all smiles now, as she has recently bagged a national honour.The actress in recent times won the Brand Ambassador of the Year award at a business award function. “It is a great honour. I am intensely touched by support I have getting from movie and advertisement industries,” she says.

Last year, Genelia had blockbusters to her credit in four languages- Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada. And this year too, the actress’s hands are full with promising offers from south as well as north.“This shows the belief industry stalwarts have on me. I am indebted to my directors, producers and of course fans,” she says.

As far as Kollywood is concerned, Genelia currently has two projects in the pipeline- ‘Velayudham’ with Vijay and ‘Uthamaputhiran’ with Dhanush.
