My Hindi is very good: Trisha

Actress Trisha Krishnan who makes her entry in Bollywood with Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Khatta Meetha’, is fluent in Hindi but the actress has used a dub in the new film. Trisha’s voice is being dubbed by a professional in this Priyadarshan directed film because the actress, who plays collector, was required to have a perfect diction.

“I actually did want to dub for my lines in ‘Khatta Meetha. I can read and write Hindi very well; my spoken Hindi is quite good too,” Trisha, who is in Europe shooting for her new Tamil film, told PTI. “Since I enact the role of district collector, the spoken language had to be impeccable. It had to be perfect Hindi with no slang being used whatsoever.

Hindi remake of Stepmom titled We Are Family

After mulling over the title of his Hindi version of Chris Columbus’ 1998 comedy drama Stepmom for a long time, Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar has finally decided to go with the name We Are Family.”Ok guys…here goes the title of our official Stepmom adaptation – We Are Family…will post the release date in a few days,” Karan revealed through a post on micro-blogging site Twitter.

The 38-year-old filmmaker had promised fans that he would announce the name of the film on Twitter first, and he kept his word.The movie is a heartwarming tale about a terminally ill divorcee who has to accept the new woman in her ex-husband’s life as the stepmother of her kids and the problems they face to find a common ground of understanding.

While it was earlier being called Love You Maa, Karan was still on the lookout for a suitable title and had even asked his Twitter followers to suggest one.”We Are Family”, directed by Siddharth Malhotra, features Kajol, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal. It is expected to release in October.
